ETT has a new entry up about the Nickster’s drinking problem. Apparently, it’s for real, despite all the meds he takes.

From: nickolauspacione@aim.comI was wanting to go to this pub crawl in Morris, Illinois but couldn’t get my ***** to drive me out to the bar. He went to bed so I am stuck. Well once my *********** goes to bed I will walk over to the local bar and get a whiskey to celebrate getting the magazine out there.
I was wondering how he managed to get to a bar. He can’t legally drive. Judging by a map, it looks like the center of town’s a good three miles away, give or take a few blocks. Three miles isn’t really that long a walk, but even at a fast pace, it’d take the better part of an hour.
The caption next to the picture of him swigging something from a can is precious:
Nickolaus Pacione is looking for a beer and there isn’t any around. Damn it I need a bottle of beer and a shot of whiskey. Found himself a new bar at the Joliet train station. Craving a boilmaker. 05/28/09 4:02pm
If that’s from his Twitter account, it didn’t come in over the feed I have.
It was a year ago he made a drunk call to an enemy of his and instead got his enemies parents. When one of the parents noted Nicky sounded drunk, he became enraged.
Ah, yes — the infamous drunk dial to Ben’s mother. At least she got a good laugh out of it, after the fact, when Ben explained who the culprit was.
The entry ends with an embed of the hamster dance remix video. No matter how many times I watch that, I can’t help chuckling.
Where I work, we call it “self-medicating” … believe me, no amount of psych meds can keep some of these guys away from their fix. Makes it hard to tell when someone’s being symptomatic, drunk/high, just an asshole, or any/all of the above.
Alcohol + antipsychotic medication = liver and kidney failure, often in the short term. Especially lithium…
Does Nicky know yet that Google has e-pirated every single one of his books? Seriously. Each and every one of his books is available for free via Google Book Scan.
He’s doing blurbs now, as well: http://books.google.com/books?id=qy4mkbVrCbIC&pg=PP3&dq=Nickolaus+Pacione
LOL! That’ll help sell books for the poor schmuck.
