Levity aside, this book is dedicated to the memory of Daverana Enterprises’ own too-recently-departed Janrae Frank … who believed in and supported this project from the very beginning. We miss you, Cuss.

The preview was a rollicking good read — sometimes scary, sometimes funny, but all good.

  1. I really, really, really wish Janrae was here to celebrate this with us. I hope she’s somewhere pleasant, doing a happy dance.

    • Same here. Now that I have my copy, I finished reading your story. Old Bossie, indeed. It was wild, weird, and completely over the top. I chuckled my way through the entire thing.

      • Glad you liked it. 🙂 It is by far the most gruesome thing I’ve ever written for publication. I might need to go back to that well a few more times. It was fun.

        • Loved it! First one I read due to the title looked fun. Each time I thought you would not take it further-you went way beyond what I was expecting.

  2. I haven’t finished the anthology yet, but there are some outstandingly funny pieces!

In particular I loved: Mark Orr, Stinky Cat, and Jerrod Balzer’s work! Can’t wait to finish it, and I hope it inspires a Fossil Lake II!
