Mr. Pacione’s latest Blogspot entry is meandering, repetitious, and largely incoherent. Here are a few highlights:
Listen dickhole, you’re contributing to them wanting to harass me even more.
I can find no evidence that Mr. Paffenroth did anything to Mr. Pacione. That remark seems to have come from left field. On the other hand, Pacione has never needed an actual reason to blow a fuse.
Rusty Nail isn’t romotely journalistic . . .
Rusty claims to be “urinalistic.” Is a “romote” a new type of remote-controlled robot?
After ranting at a half-dozen people, he concludes with this line:
Then again you’re another asshole who doesn’t give a fuck about my career.
It’s unclear to whom that is addressed. Chances are that it’s true, regardless. Perhaps Mr. Pacione could begin by giving people a reason to care about his career, such as it is. Ten . . . nine . . . eight . . .
I’m still waiting . . .
I called your blog “journalistic.” I apologize if this was taken amiss.
That’s an undeserved compliment, given the topic of coverage. But, thanks. 😉
Maybe that’s why Pacione’s going after you today. I admit, I was puzzled by it.
I’m certain that it is because he posted a comment. Nick routinely harasses the people who post comments on my blogs even when the post i made had nothing to do with him.
My favourite line on his most recent post is
. Because, you know, the world does owe him a living, boys and girls. We should go out there and make people buy his books since he has a right to their money…considering the fact that we are paying him with wellfare to live in a basement and produce (whatever it is he is producing) it constitutes that he should be paying us…
and he should be grateful for this…
If he is so busy manipulating his craft (as he once put it) why is he at constant vehemence in going after real talent?
I would think someone so serious about the craft would partner with those who have established a foothold in such an endeavor.
Although, I suppose it would be just as easy to find an answer as to why he is writing at all, considering his mental stability.
One of the ironies is that the conservative establishment have been trying to get the mentally ill dropped from the welfare rolls. The ones who keep people like Nicky on the rolls getting their ssi is the liberals that he spends so much time condemning.
I worked full time and I worked hard. I paid into the system and when my post polio syndrome became too bad to work, I went on disability that I felt I had earned by fighting my phyiscal difficulties for so many years.
Nicky has no physical disabilities. He just has a big mouth and a bad attitude.
I started working and paying taxes when i was six months shy of 16 by lying about my age. Back then no one checked. I waitressed in Las Vegas every summer from the time I was 15 until I was 19. That’s hard work.
But the tips were great.
You make a good point, Janrae. The first time he came after me (years ago), he read a comment I left on a third party’s blog, and tracked me back to mine, to leave a bucketful of ill will in my comments on an entry that had nothing to do with him. But I never got a mention on any of his blogs the next day.
I feel sorry for Mr. Paffenroth, though, especially if this is his first direct experience with Pacione. Over the years, I’ve come to know Kim’s name, but that’s the extent of it.
You’re very thoughtful, Mr Nail. I think we’ll get through this, don’t you?
I should’ve specified: I think we’ll get through this, because we have friends, family, even perhaps, on a good day, a modicum of talent. And we can count on more people to help us through tough times, because we treat people with thoughtfulness and care and respect. I feel very sorry for those people who do not have such a support network. It must be very sad.
Yes, I agree, Kim, if I may call you that. Friends and family make a fantastic support network. Those who don’t have one are missing out on something wonderful.
Alas, Poor Nick’s family appears to have given up on him, or else they’d have had him committed for his own safety years ago, and he’s gone to great lengths to alienate everyone who’s ever tried to be his friend for as long as I’ve known him. He is truly pitiable.
Ah, well, Kim … like I told Karen, just consider the source. It’s almost as though a person hasn’t made it until getting on his shit list … kind of like being lampooned by The Simpsons, only without the wit.
once in a while, Nicky does manage to be something more than a simple annoyance.
When he first got his livejournal back after having been banned under the previous owner, Nicky went to a community called “fuckyou_list” at LJ. There he went berserk and the people who were not familiar with him rallied to his cause and I received over thirty pieces of hatemail as a result of it.
That was more than a little annoyance.
When he accused me of plagiarizing Robert E. Howard, i also got some angry comments and email from strangers.
The root of the problem is that the internet is a big place. New people are constantly stumbling on Nicky who, for a brief time, believe what he has to say.
For those of us connected, even tangentially to people he has wrongfully abused, threatened, and lied about, we’ve learned to disbelieve everything he says.
However, he constantly finds new victims and new supporters who don’t know him from Adam.
The only good trend I see happening with the internet is that people are becoming more suspicious and discerning about what they read and will check out claims that are not backed up with proofs.
And Nicky’s attacks are solely based on his own delusions of grandeur. I would like to think that his word choices alone would make people suspicious. However that is not what always happens.
Too many people are willing to give others the benefit of the doubt in situations where someone is not deserving of it.
And therefore (referring to Cussedness’ comment) I think, this blog is a good piece of work. People with a normal intelligence will tell, that this blog doesn’t libel or slander, and they will get the footwork you other people had to do for free, so they can avoid greater heartache later on.
… or rather: greater professional pains …
Then again you’re another asshole who doesn’t give a fuck about my career
What “career”, Nick? You have no career to not give a fuck about.
Go get yourself an actual career, and we won’t give a fuck about it….
