I pulled the plug on Comcast, figuratively and literally. I’ve had it with their service outages; their billing shenanigans is merely the last straw. They claimed our one-year pricing agreement was only good for six months, then started billing us full rate for one more tier of TV service than we ever recieved, claiming we’d gotten it all along. Um — NO — we never could access those channels.
Adios, Comcast. Your competitor completed installation earlier today. All that remains is for me to return your equipment.
Another strike for Comcast. I’ve yet to hear a good thing about them.
Did they try to convince you to wait for one of their techs to come out and remove the equipment? They tried pulling that with me.
Yeah, Comcast is frequently full of fail.
Of course they tried to pull that, so they could charge $75 or whatever for a service visit, instead of the $2 disconnect fee for mailing back the equipment.
Can’t wait to see what they’ll charge for ditching internet before my 12 months are up. They said my TV deal was only for six months, but the internet deal was for 12. I wouldn’t put it past them to charge a hefty early termination fee, plus retroactively charge full price for previous service.
