The pumpkin pie is done. This time of year, when I finally make use of my Halloween pumpkins, my food mill gets quite a workout. I made the cran-apple sauce last night. The peppermint bark is done.
I elected to go with the shortbread I baked earlier, and not bother to make spritz cookies this year. I also didn’t bother making English toffee, but probably will make a batch next week, when we have company. All that remains is the ham, dressing, and a couple of veggies. None of that can really be done ahead of time.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas, whether you spend it feasting on food with family, or going out for Chinese and a movie.
Merry Christmas to you, Rusty!
Merry Christmas! Be safe on the roads if the storm hits!
Same to you, Rusty! Best of the Season and all.
Peaches can’t even give it a rest for the holiday. The subject of his “adoration” this time is Lake, over on that Ning forum.
Santa must’ve left coal in his stocking! :p
And if you were so ‘methodical’ what’s with all the errors in the table of contents and stuff Nicky?
Mike’s getting a little love, too.
Considering Nicky’s not taking his meds and is completely off his rocker he should be thanking his lucky stars if telling his doctor about his shenanigans is all that people do to him.
He sent me two more little love letters…
What an idiot… he threatened me with violence, of course I’m going to report that to the people responsible for his care.
Furthermore, my one writing credit is to a professionally paying market, if he wishes to use such a metric. His “credits” are with sub-pro markets with no circulation, and when he crows about a sale, he doesn’t even mention where it’s too. It’s weaksauce writing by a weaksauce wannabe.
And he’s still at it.

Also from his latest Asylum blog.
“getting $2.00 a copy of the book when it sells”
Lewis, do you have a direct link for that blog at Asylum Productions? I can’t seem to find it.

Of course, even though it’s “published” with a market, he won’t say where. What weaksauce…
Well, at least Nicky doesn’t go around ripping off the titles of other people’s work.
Wait. Did he say his new story is called “The Midnight Diner”?
Oops…
“occasional typo”? Ha. The stuff he wrote – including the Table of Contents – is riddled with errors.
On a better note: Merry Christmas! I now have to run off an finish wrapping presents for tomorrow. Drive safe if you’re going to be on the roads.
He’s started hitting up Baupdeth’s VF profile again.

Merry Christmas, everybody!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Thank you Rusty! And a Merry Christmas to all, stay safe and warm.
Sorry to be flooding a festive thread such as this, but it seems Nicky has a full-gay hard-on RAEG for me right now… Six emails in 24 hours, with the last three being within three minutes of each other…
“I can write. Oh I can write. I guess it’s time I made you a fucking
horror target you fucking holier-than-thou loser. I will send my
memoir to the newspaper to Pittsburg and mention how you like to
stifle every chance I have. I don’t treat contributors like crap,
the one who got that treatment is Marc Lyth because he was being a
cockstain. You don’t have power over me either. I will get to
Pittsburgh, watch me. I managed to leave the state a few times and I
will be in touch with the promoters over there to make it happen.”
Oh noes… he’s going to make me a horror target. I guess an incarnation of me will die an indescribable and illogical death in one of his lumps of written excrement in a juvenile Gary-Stu fantasy that will have no effect on my life, my day job or my writing career whatsoever…
Nicky seems to think he can destroy careers of other people as easily as he’s destroyed his own. He’s made of epic fail.
I would say Nicky raeg is very season appropriate. I love that one sentence where he says he doesn’t “treat contributors like crap”, and in the same sentence names a contributor he treats like crap.
Nicky logic. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
We emerged from midnight Mass to find snow falling, but it looks like it won’t be much more than a light dusting that shouldn’t impede our progress over Monteagle Mountain on the way to Florida tomorrow. To quote Phil Harris, “That’s what I like about the South!”
A very merry Christmas (or insert other applicable holiday) to all, and a happy New Year.
Merry Christmas to everyone, and I hope you all have a safe and prosperous New Year!
Hope everyone’s having a wonderful weekend, be it Christmasy or otherwise!
Merry Christmas! (if a bit late)
