Nicky’s Sending Fraudulent PayPal Invoices

This is an old trick of his that he picked up and dusted off again.  He sent one to Mary for $900, ostensibly to cover all the royalties he didn’t make from books he didn’t sell.  Since he used to routinely send people phony bills for thousands of dollars for pissing him off, it would seem he’s trying to keep his fraud below a certain dollar amount, so the Feds don’t get involved.

Over the years, so many people have reported him to PayPal that I wonder whether there’s a magic number of complaints that have to be lodged before PayPal does anything about it.  By all rights, he should have lost his account by now, or had it frozen.

Nicky Nicky Nicky. If nobody is going to donate funds to a liar, scammer, asshole, and thief like you nobody is going to pay your fraudulent bills you send them either. Maybe he WANTS to be arrested?

  2. Minotaurman says:

I’d actually consider paying him. Then immediately report him to the IRS and his disability services. See how long he keeps that up.

    • Melany says:

He’d probably get in some trouble with social security if he didn’t report it, and he’d also lose a good chunk of those disability checks he thinks he’s entitled to as well given the amounts he’s demanding with his ‘bills’

I would make sure he would lose his benefits, and he knows it. I worked for Social Security for twelve years, and I still know people.

        • SirOtter says:

In fact, I happen to know there are people paying close attention to his financial activities. He’s on the radar already.

I wonder why that gives him such a thrill. No one thinks it’s a real bill they owe.

I get the feeling it’s the same kind of thrill a second grader gets from placing thumbtacks on a teacher’s chair. I’ve never seen anyone else remain so puerile this far into his 30s. I don’t think he does it just for shits and giggles.

It’s magical, really, and not in that delicious Keebler Cookie sort of way.

I cancelled the bill, which I believe notifies him of my refusal to pay it, and I reported him for fraudulent billing. I also told the detective, for the file.

I doubt PayPal will do anything to him, which is really odd because the stories of PayPal freezing accounts are legendary. There are entire websites full of horror stories about PayPal. Still, let us know if they get back to you with any further information or actions against him.

Apparently someone’s been reading TRN and had his rolodex come back to this. I mean, it worked so well the first time.

  6. Jenny says:

When I reported Nicky to Paypal (many years ago now) for sending me a fraudulent invoice, they just told me to block his email.
