He’s overdue for $660 on his electric bill. That sounds like two or three months worth of juice to me, even with central air conditioning running 24/7.
So, what does Nikita do? He asks the internet for money. Yeah, that’s going to work, in a *headdesk* sort of way.
In theory, he could get away with skipping out on his cut’s worth of the property taxes on granddad’s home, because he doesn’t own the place. The utility bills, however, are not so easy.
“Gimme $660 to pay the electric bill, which isn’t in my name anyway, but I want y’all to think it is is, and gimme munneys.”
Oh, god, that hurt to type.
I was going to chip in a penny, but it won’t accept the decimal point. And a dollar is wayyyy too generous
It took all I had in me not to ask him what he does with those government checks. Even if it isn’t much. It should be enough to cover his share of utilities. Tsk tsk Nikity!
😉
Of course he mentions his grandfather’s death as well. Disgusting.
Because begging strangers for money has worked out SOOOO well for him in the past?
And loving the lie of ‘this is the first time I’ve done anything like this!’ hahahahahahahahahaha
Hmmm…
I can either give Nick money to allegedly pay his electric bill, or I can buy a poorly drawn and colored picture by Chris-Chan so he can buy more really expensive Lego sets.
…nah. Neither one are worth it.
I’d rather spend $12 for a set of Lodge cast iron skillets. Those come in really handy. 😉
Maybe if he took off his Bears sweatshirt he wouldn’t need to crank the AC so high.
If he takes off his Bears sweatshirt, then how will we know he reps Chicago? Of course we all know Chicago hasn’t got a clue who he is, but that’s beside the point.
I think he still has that Sox cap. Maybe not, though, because given half a chance, he loses everything — just like the Sox do.
Besides, Nikki should be getting his welfare check in a few more days, why can’t he pay the overdue bill from that? It’s not like he pays rent, has a cell phone bill, car payment, or even has to pay for groceries. (His foodstamps pay for that!) Besides, I suspect uncle Don has told Nikki he has to start paying some rent and Nikki is throwing that into the figure on top of his share of the overdue electric bill. Why do WE have to pay for his living expenses? OH WAIT! We already ARE, because the money for his welfare comes out of OUR taxes! And he’s begging for more?!! GTFO!
Don’t forget the homeowner’s and car insurance he has to pay. Oh, wait. He doesn’t have to pay for those, because he doesn’t own a house, and can’t own a car (or maybe he can legally own a car, but can’t legally get a driver’s license, without which it’s damn near impossible to register the vehicle — the laws vary by state, but they can be weird about things like that).
