Exit 208

We made it back from Minnesota in one piece.  Exit 208 off I-70 in Ohio has a BP with a mini-mart that sells coffee.  No big deal, right?  Most of those sort of places have mini-marts with coffee machines.  Well, this one sells “large” coffee and cappuccino for $1.25.  Large is 16 oz.  Take your […]

Hat tip:  B This guy is a piece of work.  He’s a self-published Nitwit extraordinare who happens to have the same publisher as . . . himself!  The folks at Journalfen and Fantasy Faction had a field day with him. Bonus fun comes in the form of some of the comments to the OP at Journalfen. […]

Alan Oakley Died

He’s the guy who designed the iconic Raleigh Chopper.  I had one of those, in royal blue, when I was a kid.  Every other kid around had a Schwinn Sting-Ray.  But, my Raleigh could pop better wheelies than their bikes.  So . . . nyah, nyah. It was a sad day when my parents replaced […]

Unfortunately, […]

Hat tip:  Jeani Rector The Indiana Attorney General has decided that David Boyer is too small time to pursue.  From Jeani: By all means, you have my permission. The more that is publicized about David Boyer, the more the writers are aware and thereby protected. Please print all of these aliases (which we know of […]

Hat tip:  Lewis . . . on the way to his own grandmother’s funeral.  From Nicky’s Twitter, we find this gem: Nickolaus A. Pacione ‏ @npacione Got lost on the way to the cemetery to bury my grandmother —#damn_it. Was 10 minutes late getting there I was supposed to be palbearer. I’m not sure how that is […]
