We’re back from Oklahoma. Relatives flew in from all over the country, and it seemed as if half the town showed up for the funeral. Many friends and neighbors stopped by to help with mundane things that needed to be done, for no other reason than to be of use. It was amazing.
We were able to recharge my brother’s Razr off the laptop right in our hotel room and retrieve his contact list and voice mail messages for my parents. Incredibly, Cingular didn’t require a password for voice mail retrieval. It’s up to them to make what use they will of the information and contact whomever.
Apparently, Mr. Pacione took the opportunity while we were away to leave his unique scent mark in my comments, and post an unrelated new screed on his Blogspot. It was to be expected. He seems to think he has a special hot line to Satan to give orders regarding admissions policy to hell.
Now that I have access to my own computer, I’m back to dogging the dog, so to speak. His latest entry made little sense; I tackled it in my previous entry.
I look forward to news about Gothicfest 2007. There’s no way that Mr. Pacione can possibly make money from that booth at Excalibur. How much will he lose?
Welcome back, Rusty.
Thanks, Cuss. It’s good to be back.
Glad to have you home, Rusty.
Thanks, Otter. I intend to finish reading your story right after breakfast. So far, it’s damned good. 😉
Welcome back, glad it went as well as things could under the circumstances.
