I was pretty hungry earlier this evening, so I suggested we go out for Indian food — my treat. Boy, did I pig out. Normally, I don’t touch the rice, and have to bring back half my entree. Not this time. We each polished off our own entrees, along with most of the rice, and an order of garlic naan.
Hours later, I feel like a beached whale, my hands smell like dhingri, and I’m still burping garlic, but I don’t regret it for a moment. That was the best dinner I’ve had in months.
The fact that I was really hungry had nothing to do with it, of course. Oops, I just lied, but even when I’m not that hungry, I still love Indian food, and Neelam’s the best within about 35 miles.
of the various asian cuisines, I’d pick Japanese or Thai. Korean and Chinese close behind. But everyone else in the family swears Indian is best, so we often end up getting that (where available, which isn’t too many places this far out, though a new one JUST opened – I’ll let you know!).
