Hat tip: Lewis
Nicky tweeted a link to his new Tumblr entry. It’s chock full of lulz.
I got the first namesake in the hands of Morris Public Library — it is now what they do with it is up to them.
Perhaps they’ll toss it in the recycle dumpster. Aside from that, the imagery of a building with hands amuses me.
Regarding a book he got into the Joliet library, he says:
It’s been checked out once but seems like when a book is donated it’s almost forgotten amongst the books that are already in the library as it
Yes, his thought really does end in mid-sentence. I can’t believe the book even made it into the card catalog for anyone to borrow.
I am thankful for those who took the time to check the anthology out but I need help raising money for my expenses to Richmond, Virginia, go ahead and buy a copy of the book for yourselves because it comes autographed already and you’re supporting a local author get where he needs to go.
Translation: “Help a fella out, will ya? I’m broke and want to take a cross-country trip, but will get arrested if I try to panhandle with dark glasses and a tin cup filled with pencils on a street corner.”
I am counting down for the trip to Richmond, Virginia and have copies of the memoir to sell while I am there . . .
He spent his travel and lodging money on books to bring with him because the Poe Museum won’t stock them in its gift shop.
I am working on a preview for my first book Collectives In A Forsaken Landscape for those who want to buy this one — I removed the reviews because they were flaming and someone tried to pass me off as a flaming homosexual when I am not gay.
Amazon reviews are a joke when the author routinely removes reviews that are less than flattering.
I just had bad luck in finding the right woman who’d put up with my creative habits.
It’s not your creative habits that disgust people, Peaches. I can think of a half dozen other reasons off the top of my head.
Collectives and Dirty Black Winter are illustrated along with my memoir which is the sister book to Collectives. If the story doesn’t make sense to you with Collectives — read the memoir first and they will make sense to you then.
No they won’t.
Finally, I still don’t believe he’ll make it to Richmond. He will, predictably, find himself short of funds like he did last January, and have to cancel his trip — again.
Poor Nicky still can’t score a date while I get one walking to my hair appointment today. LOL
That made my day. I’d seen the guy in town a few times when I was getting lunch at the same place he was and today we talked for a bit and made plans for tomorrow night.
I almost wish I could pay his way there, so there would be a fantastic story out of it…
